Vast-Av are a boutique audio-visual staging and technologies company located in Brisbane. I was excited to be given the opportunity to build this website due to my own extensive experience in the audio-visual domain. The brief was to create a visually appealing solution that showcases their high-end audio-visual expertise, with an emphasis on imagery from their extensive and varied technical portfolio.

reSecure is a Norwegian SaaS (Software as a Service) cyber security solution that surface performs passive enumeration on domains from the perspective of a hacker. The brief was to create a website that highlights the different areas of the surface scan to non-technical end-users. This was achieved with a combination of stock imagery taken from free web resource Pexels, and text that was provided by the developer.

Australian Communities provide SIL (Supported Independent Living) and Crisis Accomodation for children and adults in the Brisbane and South East Queensland areas. Director River Night wanted a video driven home page and after some searching I found the perfect royalty free solution for both video and images on Pexels. A form for prospective employees was also required and was created using the Enfold theme..

My Foundations delivers professional supervision for support workers in the Brisbane and South East Queensland areas. Owner Jodie Schleusener requested a video driven home page, and Studio Projects created a series of three interactive HTML cards floating in a z-index layer above the video. My Foundations is a complete resource driven website with vital information for support workers and participants alike.

ARTZxpo manufacture tent gazebos and signage for community sporting events and approached Studio Projects to build them a simple single page website that can be built upon to create an e-commerce solution. Director River Night is heavily involved in the community as a disability advocate and saw the need for a cheaper solution for public event signage. The website will sell online directly to the public.

Developing Australian Communities are the creators of the Australian Disability Expos that showcase service providers around capital cities in Australia. Their original website was built in Joomla by a company in the Phillipines and they wanted a more user friendly solution, along with more response time friendly local support. The site comprises over 527 pages, with numerous videos and radio interviews.

Hunter Coast Plumbing is a boutique plumbing service located in Newcastle that services the Newcastle and Central Coast areas. The brief was to create a simple one page website that displayed well on mobile phones and gives an outline of the many services that they offer. The solution delivered was a simple one page site that uses HTML anchors and a JavaScript scroller to navigate the various areas of the page.

Iconic Australian singer John Williamson needed a website rebuild and reinvigoration and his WooCommerce shop rebuilt so that it was properly functional. The brief also required an backend that was both easy to use and drag and drop, so the Enfold Theme by Kreisi was deemed the most appropriate solution. Training was also provided to his wife Meg in the operation of WooCommerce, along with a few ongoing bug fixes.

Easy Coordination

TECHNOLOGIES – WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Easy Coordination is a support coordination service that specialises in assistive technologies for the disabled. The brief was to create a website that is both easy to navigate and that passes the stringent criteria for accessibility. The UserWay plugin was chosen for ease of use, giving the end user the option to change font size and a variety of other parameters. The site was designed with high contrast, legible text and icons.

Coastal Audio is a small production company located on the Gold Coast that specialises in high-end audio production at reasonable prices. With a small inventory of state of the art equipment, the brief was to showcase the equipment and the various packages offered to local musicians. A blog was stipulated so the owner could post latest gigs and equipment purchases. photography was by Studio Projects.

Equus Trailers is a fabrication company located in Victoria that specialises in high-end horse floats at reasonable prices. The owner, Don Herring, approached Studio Projects to create an online presence with which to market his products. The design colour scheme was taken from the principle colours used in the range of horse floats, and the logo design was traced in Photoshop from a photograph of a logo design by Don’s sign-writer.

The Australian Roadcrew Association is a charitable organisation which assists road crew through harrowing situations in life, from illness to financial issues.. Founded by Ian Peel, the association approached Andy Taylor, himself a veteran touring sound engineer, with a brief to market desk tapes of famous acts recorded by their front of house engineers to raise money to care for crew who are experiencing hardship. Studio Projects created a WordPress solution.

Front End Development

TECHNOLOGIES – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, GSAP, Three.js

Front End Development will showcase Andy Taylor as a front end developer and is being built in the format of an online game. Animation on the site is achieved with the Greensock Animation Platform (GSAP) which was formally known as Tweener and Andy’s time as a Flash Developer. 3D interfacing and page interaction is being implemented using the three.js library for JavaScript and brings an exciting new dimension to interactivity.

Best of the Bee Gees

best of the Bee Gees is the World’s premier Bee Gees Tribute and was formed on the Gold Coast some 28 years ago and features the original drummer of the Bee Gees, Colin Peterson, as MC. The brief was to provide a platform the for the excellent imagery provided by the owner, and to ensure that fans around the world are kept up to date with information on their latest performances at major theatres around Australia and the World.
