The problem

Invoicing from a Word template, for two trading names under one ABN, had become slow and error-prone.

The approach

A small local app with PDF invoices, deposits, recurring hosting invoices, expenses, a vehicle log and financial-year reports. All money is handled in whole cents, and a test checks that the browser and the server agree across 2,000 random invoices.
